Our Mission
The Mr. Don Sadofsky Foundation for Music Education is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding equitable access to high-quality music education. The Foundation removes financial and structural barriers for students and educators by providing scholarships, musical instruments, instructional support, and community-based music programs that foster artistic growth, educational opportunity, and lifelong engagement in music.
Our Vision
We envision a Chicago where every young person has access to high-quality music instruction, where music educators are recognized and supported throughout their careers, and where the power of music is used to build community, cultivate identity, and create lifelong opportunities, both inside and outside the classroom.
